hello hello world!

why am i writing an About Me?  well, the narcissistic alter-ego in me wants to be seen, to be heard, and yes, to be read.  princess or not, i’m only human, haha!


♥ THE BLOGGER
hee, i’ve no idea what the contents of this page will be.  i’m the sort who doesn’t plan before writing.  yup, just decide on a general topic and the fingers will take over and tap away. 

the princess has a free-wheeling style when it comes to writing.

most of the time, i just finish my post in one sitting.  i tend to just blog my heart out.  if you ever read rambling posts from me that don’t seem to make much sense or logic, that’s probably my heart talking.  and if you ever read a post with lots of grammatical errors, that’s just spell-check not doing its job, haha!

my blogging style is open and straightforward.  i blog what i think (at that point in time). but i never intentionally offend or provoke or hurt anyone.  with me, what you see read is what you get.  i’m as real as bloggers come these days.


♥ THE FAN
firstly, i’m a leader fan (and also a noona fan…)

sure, ALL FIVE BOYS ARE UBER-CUTE! and i really really really applaud the decision to make SS501 the rare idol group whose appeal is their natural selves. but to call myself a green pea would be stretching the truth too far.  you see, i ain’t into korean pop music; even if i were, their genre of music is not my cup of tea.

no good or bad, just a matter of different folks, different strokes.

but i’ve gotten say their Rebirth mini album is much closer to what i like.  in fact, i love Obsessed, Wasteland and Love Like This (and oh, i can’t help but gush about Crazy for You!)

that said, i love watching them on variety programs!  they’re a total blast!

and, leader’s the BEST!

his 4D personality makes him so unpredictable.  it’s always great fun to watch him.  yea, in every sense of the word, since he REALLY is the ultimate eye-candy.


♥ THE ONLINE PERSONA
have you ever thought about whether people are the same online and offline?  most people seem to think that people tend to be more forthcoming, vocal and social online than offline.  click here to read more about my thoughts on this.

for me, most people think i’m quite the same online and offline.



♥ THE WOMAN
like most other women, i’m a bundle of complex feelings and mixed-up identities, haha!

despite being able to express myself fairly easily, and despite being relatively self-confident, i can be painfully shy, extremely self-conscious, terribly awkward with strangers and incredibly bad at making small talk.

(hee, i can literally hear exclamation of disbelief. ‘what?! you shy?! no way!’)

yes way!

you see, while i’ve a healthy dose of confidence in my intelligence and all, i feel insecure about my social skills. but but but, since i know i’m shy and self-conscious, i make a very deliberate and conscious effort to overcome it.  i just pretend that i’m 501% more social and outgoing than i really am. most of the time, it works.


♥ THE PRINCESS
some of you may know that i’ve been a BYJ fan since 2002, and i’ve always been active on a china fansite, loveyongjoon.

i think it all started from YJ’s TWSSG filming days in 2006…?  it probably started as a joke about him being the great king, and i’d gotten to be a princess (from some other country, of course) in order to marry him or something… (*^^*)

somehow i managed to get nearly everyone on that chinese site to call me princess BB.

the label just sorta stuck.  hee, i’ve been shamelessly telling people i’m princess. it’s kindda strange how when you say something often enough, people will accept it!  now even my closer friends call me princess \(^_^)/
