[2009.12.16] leader, pls be good to me

well, this is sort of like a continuation from the earlier post… again, won’t be reposting every pic and every fancam… don’t really like to ‘flood’ this little haven of leader heaven.

have i mentioned how much i like the rather clean and near-colorless look of this blog template? i like ‘space-y’ webpages like this… not overly complicated or fussy with details, and only the key info and the select few pics or clips are included.  the world, OUR world is already complex and messy enough, why do i want a blog that’s as complex and messy? in today’s world of info-overload and way-too-many-choices-for-our-own-good, sometimes less is good, and simplicity is pure beauty.

yes, the princess really does believe so.


when this whole leader blog thingy first started, my original idea was to do this for noona fans… so if i get my way, i’d reckon that most of you would get what i’m gonna say next. do you gals remember what it was like to order coffee in the past? it was just coffee black or coffee with milk. at most, you might be asked if you wanted sugar with it.   and no, we didn’t call it some fancy names like long black…  (the younger ones probably don’t know what kopitiam kopi is like….)

but today, ordering coffee is a highly complicated affair. even after you’ve ploughed through the extensive menu of latte, cappuccino, macchiato, espresso, frappucino, americano, etc etc etc, and decided on the christmas special of dark cherry mocha… at the counter, you’d be asked if you wanted it hot or cold. you said ‘hot’, and you;d be asked if you wanted whipped cream on it… lord, i thought only those cold ice-blended stuff came with whipped cream… and of course, you also had to decide if you wanted it decaff, or with skimmed milk, low-fat milk, soy milk, or whatever…

aigoo…!! does it really have to be so complicated? okie, okie, the uncouth and uncultured kopi-see-siew-dai-drinker shan’t argue with those coffee connoisseurs amongst you…


anyway, what was i talking about already…? ahhhh, about life, and how complicated everything is. so when it comes to our leader blog, i really wish to make it simpler. hehe, mostly to make OUR own lives simpler so that we don’t have to repost EVERYTHING… but also for those amongst you who might be too busy living your complicated lives to go through every single pic and watch every single clip from every single fan and taken from every single angle, we would just put up the barest minimum of the key stuff and hopefully, the most ‘selective’ (read = shortlisted and hopefully beautiful) pics and clips, so that we can save you some time and yet still be sufficiently updated.


you know, the princess thinks other than work, family, leader-fandom, every noona fan out there also deserves some ‘me-time’. yes, you have to learn to spend time with yourself, so that you know yourself better, and so that you don’t just hurry through each day, reliving each day the same way again and again and again and again and again… you may want to use the ‘me-time’ to do some self-reflection, to read abit, to call a new friend, to catch up with an old friend, to watch the news, or just light some candles and take a long bath. or what the heck, just go cut your toenails or something.  just go do something -anything- for yourself.

don’t hurry through everyday blindly, and unfeelingly.

coz before you know it, the week is over, and then the month is over, then the entire year is over, and then your whole life would have sped past you and you wouldn’t even know what you’d done to spend the days.

so now, repeat after me, (Optional: I’m a princess,) PLEASE BE GOOD TO ME.


before others can be good to you, you have to be good to yourself first. if you don’t love yourself, how on earth do you expect others to? and if you can’t bring yourself to love yourself in your own skin, then do something about it, ya?  just go make yourself more lovable, more attractive, more approachable… in fact, the princess thinks that if everyone would just be abit more patient, more tolerant, kinder, and less quick to judge or to jump to conclusions, everyone would be more at peace and at ease with yourself. and that’s a person who’s so easy to fall in love with.  (*bb: and yea, it’s easier said than done, and yea, for sure it takes a conscious effort to make things happen…)


okay now, to ‘reward’ you for listening to my rubbish, here are some ‘angel’ pics. the first collection is from 1004KHJ CAFE.

huh?  you wanna know why did i call them ‘angel’ pics? those of you who know korean, or are familiar with the korean culture and stuff might know this. in korean, 1000 is pronounced as ‘chon’, and the number 4 is pronounced as ‘sa’, so this means that 1004 is read as ‘chon-sa’… which miraculously has the same pronunciation as ANGEL! so i guess the members of 1004khj cafe think that leader is an angel.
